My boyfriend and I were in a car accident last Friday that totaled our car. Luckily, we're alright but I'm really sore from tensing up and I either have a hairline fracture or just a really badly bruised sternum & bruised shoulder from the seat belt.
So, while I've been having to take it easy, I've had lots of extra time to study for school, watch movies with Brennan and play lots of Sims.
I am still trying to match up generation 2 and start their own families. I find it humorous that whenever they have fires, I've stopped trying to help them a lot, depending on who's in the room. I have a lot of extra boys in this generation and lots of parents still living, so losing a couple in fires every once in a while actually makes things easier....lol. I haven't had anyone die of the flu yet, but it's going around like wildfire right now.
Like I said, in the first generation Roman stage, I have way more boys than girls. At first I thought, well I guess I'd just have a lot of male slaves, but then that would allow an uneven amount of lighter skinned males to have families than skin 4 sims. So, I came up with a great idea: As I mentioned before, I created a couple of the Greek/Roman gods to interact with them and every once in a while they ca father children. So, I made Aphrodite Venus and built her a palace which is actually an apartment complex. She has a giant apartment that is the main palace and their are six little houses below the palace where her priests and/or lovers live. I'm moving male sims there that have no love interest yet and/or haven't met anyone their not related to yet (haha). For the most part, they will just become Aphrodite's lovers, but every once in a while they will father some of her children (between 2 and 3 probably).
Like I stated in the modthesims.info discussion group, I'm mostly following the rules but playing with a few twists such as this.
